The changes began taking place on Tuesday when it was rumoured that Mick Wadsworth was to come in as number two to Gary Peters. This was susequently confirmed.
The next move saw the resignation of Shrewsbury stalwart Chic Bates. He left the position of 1st team coach because he felt he was being 'squeezed out' by Peters' new regime. Quite how the Peters/Wadsworth situation is different from the Quinn/Cooke situation is not clear.
Anyway, back to Wadsworth, from all accounts, he is a well respected coach (although not by Huddersfield fans). He has seen it all, from Carlisle to the Congo, and has been lauded by Sir Bobby Robson.
Surely his experience will be very useful, especially if he can help Town score!
Which brings us to the trip to Darlington. Town are struggling in the full-back department, with question marks over Moss, Challis and Ashton. Sam Aiston is also doubtful but Duane Darby is in the squad.
