The striker made a 25-minute debut cameo at Bury and has since started away against Rotherham and at home to Bournemouth, albeit without finding the net. However, he did play a large part in the build-up to Saturday's winner against the Cherries and the on-loan Norwich man is happy as long as the points keep coming.
"I'm getting my match sharpness together, the goals I am confident will come," he told Shrews' official website. "I have had chances, I am one of those players that if I get chances I am happy.
"I am confident I will score more than I miss so in that respect it's a little frustrating because I would like to score on my home debut.
"It was one of those games but I felt I played a major part in the game and contributed to helping us win. That's the important thing, that we put three points on the board and keep in touch with everyone at the top.
"It's not a personal thing for me to come here and get as many goals as I can, it's about helping Shrewsbury and along the way my goals will come and hopefully that will coincide with some wins."
