Shrewsbury have recalled Dean Holden from his emergency loan spell at Rotherham with immediate effect. Holden joined the Millers on a one-month loan deal but after impressing manager Ronnie Moore his spell at the club was extended by a further two months. The defender made seven appearances at the Don Valley Stadium helping the Millers up to third in League Two and Rotherham's Chief Operating Officer Paul Douglas was pleased with Holden's contribution. He told the club's website: "Dean has been a model professional throughout his stay with Rotherham United. "Dean arrived at a time when we had one or two injuries and filled in admirably when required. We wish him well for the rest of the season."
