Shrewsbury right-back Dean Holden has joined League Two rivals Rotherham on a month-long loan deal. The 30-year-old has been drafted in to cover injury problems for Millers boss Ronnie Moore with Dale Tonge and Johnny Mullins currently sidelined. The move provides Holden with the perfect opportunity to get some vital game time under his belt. Shrews boss Graham Turner told Town`s official website: "Dean is in need of games and Rotherham asked about his availability. "They have injury problems and I think it`s a move which will suit both parties. "Dean won`t be allowed to play in the Carling Cup and he should be back with us before we are scheduled to play Rotherham so that won`t be a problem."
