The revelation came from Terriers boss Peter Jackson, who said Gary Peters was the only caller about his Huddersfield players.
Jackson told TownOnline: "The only enquiry there's been was from Shrewsbury, who were keen to talk with Nat Brown, but nothing has come of that at the moment."
That could be because boss Peters currently is on holiday, and is keeping his transfer cards close to his chest.
Brown, 24, featured in 18 games last season but failed to hit the back of the net. If he were to sign on at the Meadow, the 6ft 2in striker could go some way towards replacing Luke Rodgers up front.
But it is likely Peters will continue to look for a more experienced goalscorer with a proven track record as he shapes his squad for next term.
