Peters also said that the Gay Meadow faithful was a factor in Town winning the game.
Moss was lauded after scoring twice and setting up a third. The full-back, Town's captain on the day, headed home a corner from Jamie Tolley, before the same source caused problems in the box and Moss slammed the ball home.
This came after Town had gone 2-0 down in the first half an hour. Moss then turned provider on the stroke of half time, crossing for former Harriers loanee Kelvin Langmead to head home.
And the scoring was rounded off by a drought-ending goal from Luke Rodgers in the second half.
Talking to ShrewsWeb, Peters said of the game: "We got back to 3-2 but I thought that was through the sheer determination of Darren Moss, he was captain and put in a captain's performance.
"You can talk about the fightback on the pitch but the fightback from the supporters was also a turning point, they were absolutely brilliant. We were two-nil down and they were still singing and we owe today's victory in part to them.
"It was so important for Luke Rodgers to score today and I was so pleased to see him get one today."
