Town's solicitors have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure the club were not fined or deducted points.

To avoid sanctions from the Football League, Town have persuaded the FA that the circumstances could not have been avoided. They have also agreed to cover any shortfall suffered by Bury in the re-match a week today (February 8).
