Old boy Cramb makes Grim prediction

Town go into the game propping up the entire football league, after Saturday's lesson at Leyton Orient. An immediate answer to their critics would be the ideal tonic tonight.

But Cramb, who departed the club in September after Quinn questioned his attitude, told TeamTalk, '[Grimsby boss] Russell Slade is a very positive person compared to Jimmy Quinn, who is as very negative person. Jimmy allowed things to get personal between us, which was disappointing.'

He went on to give a morbid prognosis for the under pressure boss' future: 'I hope I score the winning goal against Shrewsbury and put the final nail in Quinn's coffin,' he said.

These comments should only spur Town fans to respond to Quin's calls for fans to get behind the club.

Quinn pointed out that there were still over 30 games left and the season was far from over. He told the Shropshire Star: 'Fans always play a big part and none more so than in a big game like tonight.

'We are in this together and nobody is happy with our position [but] they have stuck with us all season', he added.

In team news, Quinn is expected to make changes, with fit again Duane Darby pushing hard for a start, with Town lacking goals. Full back Darren Moss could also revert to right back.

For Grimsby, Cramb is expected to get a start due to an injury to first choice striker Michael Reddy.
