Captain Ian Sharps believes Shrewsbury will get even better as the season progresses. The Shrews have started their season with a bang, winning both their opening League Two clashes with Bradford and Macclesfield. Between those two triumphs, Graham Turner's side recorded a thrilling 4-3 victory over Charlton in the Carling Cup. "Sometimes it takes time for people to gel, but good players learn from each other quickly," the defender told BBC Radio Shropshire. "But there are lots of things we can work on, and we can still get better. "We're working hard in training - but we're not resting on our laurels. We've only played two games in the league, and there's a long way to go yet. We need to kick on again against Aldershot on Saturday."
