The young midfielder, who enjoyed a similar spell with Rochdale at the start of the current campaign, has represented England at Under-19 and Under-20 level and has long been a target for Shrews boss Graham Turner.
Turner told Town`s official website: "It`s coming to a busy part of the season where injuries and form will play a part so to have someone as exciting as Andrew in the squad will give us all a boost."
