Shrews wait on Parry
Paul Parry will be assessed ahead of Shrewsbury's clash at home to Tranmere.
The midfielder missed Saturday's 1-1 draw at Crewe due to a hamstring injury and is battling to be back to face Rovers at the Greenhous Meadow.
Fit-again Jon Taylor stepped in to make his first start since early November and duly bagged Town's leveller against the Alex, and the winger will now hope to keep his place in Graham Turner's starting XI.
Midfielder Aaron Wildig is stepping up his rehabilitation from a knee injury while defender Jermaine Grandison also misses out due to a lack of match fitness.
On-loan Tranmere defender Jim McNulty will serve a one-game suspension.
McNulty, currently borrowed from Barnsley, saw red in Friday night's loss to Gillingham at Prenton Park as Ronnie Moore's side picked up their league-leading sixth dismissal of the campaign.
Rovers' squad has been decimated by injury since the start of the season but those problems have now largely cleared up with only defender Ian Goodison (thigh) missing until the new year.
Elsewhere, midfielder Andy Robinson, now fully recovered from a knee injury, could make his first start since August.
