He told the club's official website: "One of the plusses this season has been the progress of a number of the youth team players into the first-team side.
"Will Richards, Jon Taylor and Danny Taylor have all been training with the first team this season and have continued to develop and progress.
"They have all now made their first team debuts and have all impressed during their time on the pitch.
"The challenge now for them is to continue to impress in training and the reserves and grab the chance when it next comes their way."
