Team Talk starts Ratcliffe to Preston rumour.

Team Talk has reported that soon to be managerless Preston are going to chase Kevin Ratcliffe to replace former Shrew David Moyes who is set to join Everton.

Former Town captain David Moyes is favourite to take over as manager at Everton, causing speculation that Kevin Ratcliffe may move to Preston.

Moyes has done an excellent job at Preston and his experience at the higher level may give him the edge over Ratcliffe for the Goodison Park post. However, if Moyes moves then Ratcliffe could well be a target for Preston.

Town are close to securing Ratcliffe on a new three-year contract, but would be unlikely to stand in his way if Preston came knocking.

And Preston have hinted that they may let Moyes leave the club after confirming Everton have made an official approach.
