Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner felt his side had done enough to earn a share of the spoils after losing 1-0 to Port Vale. Gary Roberts smashed in the only goal of the game from 25 yards to give Vale the win and extend their lead at the top of League Two to four points. Ian Sharps thought he had equalised but his header struck the inside of a post and rolled across the line. "We were unlucky when Ian struck the inside of the post," Turner said "We've now hit the woodwork three times in the last two games and that has probably cost us three points. "You could see why Port Vale are up there, but the result is difficult to accept because it was a tight game and I thought we deserved something from it."
