Graham Turner has explained the reasons behind his touchline bust-up with opposite number Sammy McIlory during Shrewsbury`s 1-0 defeat to Morecambe on Saturday. The Shrews manager was disappointed with the excessive celebratory actions of his counterpart when the hosts were awarded a second-half penalty, something which was not helped when the lively Shrimps boss later looked to return an oncoming ball which was still in play at the time. McIlroy`s involvement saw the fourth official and Turner get involved near the dugouts before the former was sent to the stands by the referee to watch the rest of the game. Turner said: "I think when you go onto the pitch and trap the ball when it`s still in play is one thing, I wouldn't have been bothered about that. "But it just annoyed me when I see him running 10 yards on the pitch when they were awarded a penalty and jumping up and down, I don`t like that. And the two combined is unacceptable. "But at that point he didn`t get sent to the stands, so what happened after that I`ve no idea. I think there`s a way of behaving, and running on the pitch on a couple of occasions is not how I see it should happen and as far as I`m aware the technical area doesn`t include parts of the pitch."
