Turner Informs Ratcliffe "I Want A Fee"

Chris Turner has informed Kevin Ratcliffe that it will take a fee to get Tony Lormor back at Gay Meadow on a full time basis. Turner has recieved alot of criticism for his handling of the Striker, who has admitted he feels closer to Shrewsbury than Hartlepool.

"We recalled Tony because it was only ever going to be a one-month period," said the Pool manager.

"It was just a case of letting him get some first-team football under his belt. If Shrewsbury are so keen on him then they can make us an offer."

Lormor was very frustrated when he was forced to return to the North East after a very successful Loan period at Gay Meadow.

Tony underlined his commitment to Shrewsbury by attending the game against Rushden & Diamonds at the weekend, even though he couldn't play.

Lormor said: "I have to say I feel closer to Shrewsbury than I do Hartlepool at the moment. They had a massive game at Rushden on Saturday. I just wish I had been involved."
