Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner was relieved after watching his side claim a narrow 2-1 victory over lowly Barnet. The Shrews profited from two errors by Bees keeper Jake Cole to go 2-0 ahead by the 41st minute courtesy of goals from Craig Disley and Matt Harrold. Despite Jordan Parkes' 61st-minute strike giving the visitors hope, Turner's men clung on to claim the three points. "We talked about them pulling one back at half-time," he said. "They did that but, having said that, we had a lot of opportunities to kill them off. "Later in the game they had to chase and threw men forward. They had pace and good movement to be fair but in that spell we should really have killed them off. "We missed the final killer pass and the chances and we might have paid a heavy penalty. Barnet had a real go in the last 15 minutes and it was a little bit hairy."
