Lisbie double tames Shrews

Two goals from Kevin Lisbie helped Leyton Orient to a 2-1 home victory over struggling Shrewsbury.

It was Lisbie's first start in eight matches after being sidelined with a hamstring injury and the striker opened the scoring from the penalty spot after 33 minutes following Jeremy Helan's foul on Moses Odubajo.

In an entertaining game, the visitors scored a fine equaliser after a sweet three-man move involving Luke Rodgers, Marvin Morgan and Jon Taylor - who finished off the attack with a sublime finish in the 70th minute.

Both teams created a number of chances to win it with David Mooney and Jimmy Smith going close for the home side, while Rodgers and Taylor were denied by home goalkeeper Ryan Allsop.

Lisbie though had the final word with two minutes remaining when he met a corner from Dean Cox to end a run of four straight league defeats for the Londoners.
