Spireites topple ShrewsChesterfield deservedly picked up their first away win of the season with Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Sam Morsy on target in a 2-1 win at promoted Shrewsbury. The visitors should really have been in front by the interval, but were unable to take any of three presentable chances.Experienced striker Ebanks-Blake headed an inviting cross from Dan Jones narrowly wide before Dan Gardner fired a low shot just off target from 15 yards.Lee Novak was the next man to threaten for the Spireites when he cut in from the right but drilled his shot over the bar.Shrewsbury, in contrast, found chances hard to come by with goalkeeper Tommy Lee never extended in the opening 45 minutes.Chesterfield finally made the breakthrough in the 49th minute with Ebanks-Blake whipping a low left-footed shot from the edge of the box past Jayson Leutwiler. It was no surprise when they doubled their lead after 63 minutes, with Morsy firing home from 15 yards after good work from Novak.Shrewsbury had to wait until the 75th minute to force a first save of the night from Lee, although they clawed a goal back two minutes from time, left-back Mat Sadler cracking a fine shot from 25 yards into the top corner
