Shropshire neighbours and Nationwide Conference rivals Shrewsbury Town and Telford United could not be separated in this highly-charged FA Trophy quarter-final - with a 1-1 scoreline ensuring the teams must meet again on Tuesday 16th March.
John Grant fired Telford United ahead on 14 minutes - a lead they held until the 64th minute when Colin Cramb levelled for Shrewsbury.
But after the visitors dominated the first-half, it was Shrewsbury who held sway after the break and after Cramb had blasted them level from six yards they were denied victory only by the woodwork when Luke Rodgers saw his fierce drive rebound off the crossbar with 12 minutes remaining.
When Tony Naylor hooked the ball across the Shrewsbury goalmouth, Grant was on hand to put Telford ahead - and while they were on the back foot for long periods of the second half, will feel they earned a Buck's Head replay next month for their dogged defensive display.
